Earthlink’s Fault?

Screeds like Dave’s rambling anti-Earthlink post truly perplex me. He writes “Earthlink sucks, and we don’t appreciate [them] wasting our time before we get to listen to the Gillmor Gang.”

Now, I know this is a tough concept to grasp, but I’m fairly certain that Earthlink wasn’t the cause of the advertisement. Last time I checked which was, oh, three seconds ago, a company couldn’t force you to advertise for them.

So as much as I dislike earthlink, I think Dave’s annoyance is misplaced… why not place the burden where it really is: on whomever is in charge of the Gillmor Gang podcast?

    Wasting our time? And this, from someone who is notorious for a podcast with 3 minutes of dead air while he got a cup of coffee?

    Heh. Nice catch. I had forgotten about Dave’s expanses of dead-air.
