This [topic] became part of the discussion in the previous post. I wanted to make sure Doc Searls saw this since he’s been carrying the torch on VRM.
People who are on the real bleeding edge of technology might already be familiar with a way for one individual to make sure that another individual sees a wall of text, we call it “email”.
Will this end up like RSS and blogging? Where Dave tweaks something that’s already been developed and then demands credit for its invention? Or did he really mean “I wanted to make sure other people saw me writing this to Doc.”
Dave broke another piece of news today:
Apple sells everything at a premium and they replace parts but keep the old one… even disk drives.
Let’s see if Dave actually tries Fry’s Electronics. That should be pretty hilarious. They sell at rock bottom prices and get 5% returned and they put the product back on the shelf with a sticker.
Dave will love their service if Apple can’t keep him happy. Not.
Dave needs the Nordstrom’s of computer stores. Where they give you someone to pick the product for you and help you at every steps and take anythoing back by drivign to your house with a new model. Of course, he’ll have to cover the Nordstrom mark-up He’d love that. Not.
Some people will never be happy.
