Dave’s last piece of advice for RSS developers seems pretty good, actually. You have to ignore all of the self-aggrandizing and self-congratulation, but at the core, all he’s really arguing for is robustness of RSS clients.
I’m not sure why this post would be at all contentious, but I do like to comment on the rare occasions where I actually agree with him.
