On Quotes and Analogies
May 11th, 2007 by EyeOnWinerHere Dave whines that he ws “misquoted.” Problem is, the part he complains about is not even a quote. He also doesn’t maintain that the actual quote from the paragraph is wrong, only that he doesn’t believe what the author says he does. He doesn’t say what he does believe, only that he doesn’t believe that.
Then we have one of the worst analogies ever. If I didn’t better, I’d think he was accusing Russo & Hale of extortion, because that’s precisely what he describes in his surgery scenario. The libel train rolls on. Hopefully R&H can put Dave in his place.
