I never thought a post of Dave’s would open up in my feed reader and I would find myself sighing with relief. Today that happened: Dave wrote a coherent, reasonable, and articulate piece in which he engaged in no mud-slinging or hypocrisy.
Of course, it was about technology, not politics. Go figure.
Reasonable? His second sentence is a slam against Macs. “Reasonable” could be defined as “avoiding irrational prejudices against vendors that didn’t want to work with you.”
Umm… not really. “Most of the server-side software I depend on is written in either Frontier or the OPML Editor, which are not reliably running, as a server, on any other OS, as far as I’m concerned.”
That’s not even remotely disparaging to Macs. His software maybe, but not Apple.
