So it goes like this. Dave laments having nobody to help him support BloatrFan on Windows. He gets a volunteer. Dave says “let’s set up a support forum”, to which his new volunteer says “great! go ahead!” and Dave looks a gift horse in the mouth — worse, though, was he was really quite rude about it.
Instead of saying something like “I don’t really have the bandwidth to get this up and going right now. If you do, go for it and I’ll link to your efforts”, he chose to scold Edgar like he was some sort of child or was trying to trap Winer into a lifetime of support for a google group. (Of course, we all know that Dave has no problem pulling the plug on services he had previously been supporting)
What an ass.
He probably can’t risk any more online activity than 140 character tweets. Now that Comcast is onto his ass.
Any reason feedburner hasn’t updated the feed here since 3/31? Didn’t think Dave could have been that quiet for that long.
An off-topic remark (oh, well) …

Also, being in Canada, when I can the radio dial I occasionally stumble upon the blusterings of one national talk show host by the name of Charles Adler. He is a rightwing blowhard, but setting aside what he has to say, when I hear his histrionic delivery, I cannot but associate his image — which I see advertised — to that of a certain indignant, irrational blogger. http://www.am1220.ca/images/promos/adler_large.jpg

I thought Dave Winer was a movement, not a person.
Hmm… unless “bowel movement” counts? I can’t find a reason for it not to.
