The Dave Winer-Jason Calacanis feud continues on Twitter, the persistent online chatroom that delivers more idiocy per second (Ips) than any of its competitors.

Dave Winer continues to amaze. How does the same person that goes on and on about his hatred of personal attacks consistently attack others? How does he rationalize that?

Yes, the meds joke is a low blow, but damn if it doesn’t make some sense. He doesn’t act like sane person should. He acts like someone with mental problems.

Narcissistic personality disorder is described as involving “a pervasive pattern of grandiosity, need for admiration, and a lack of empathy.”

Almost every CEO, politician or movie star has this disorder to some degree. It drives some very specific behaviors. The incredible self-regard and the total lack of empathy creates a very hypocritical social personality.

There’s no mention of body image… but a narcissist would like their own form.

Of course, Dave doesn’t like this free analysis. No matter how well intended. Go figure.

The dude reminds me of Nixon. I wouldn’t be surprised if he has an Enemies List.

  4. Diego Says:

Or would he be more like Kissinger?

  5. McD Says:

I think he might be more like Spiro Agnew. Of course that would make us the “nattering nabobs of negativism.”

But, Dave is not a crook. No indictments pending.

    Most-recent pingers

Here’s a list of the 100 most-recent pinging FlickrFan users. The first column links to the user’s Flickr account, if we know the user’s ID. The second says when they last pinged. The third is the version of the software they’re running. The fourth is the number of times they’ve pinged. If your name is in this list and you don’t want it to be, you can turn it off on the first Prefs pa

The most pathetic remark of Dave’s was where he said Rudy Giuliani would be working for Mahalo and that Rudy and Jason sound alike. I wish you had found those quotes, they’re so pathetic. But then so am I.
