Turn My HDTV Into a PodCatcher?
January 15th, 2008 by EyeOnWiner
Dave wants us to listen to the radio on our TVs. That’s his big new software… we can all gather around the TV, turn on FlickrFan, and listen to some awesome podcasts.
I just don’t even have the words for this. It’s like buying a Tablet PC and using it as a clipboard.

You know what my thought was when the new Apple TV features – the self-contained podcatche, the Flickr integration – were announced?
“Poor Dave.”
Don’t worry. Those feelings passed quickly.
the only song which comes immediately to mind is “Yesterday.” this winer “invention” is so retro that i’m left ….totally underwhelmed. yawn.
I want to use my HDTV as an outliner.
Bull: You could use your HDTV as an Outline… if someone would “simply” port the open source “OPML Editor” to a TV. It’s open. It’s source. What IS the problem with these free programmers. They won’t take a hint.
Hint #2> The podcatcher app would be much cooler on a Flash Drive like device. 2-way… incredible. Oh yes, add a wifi and really good microphone too.
That will get “us” started. They we can move on to common appliances like the microwave, toaster and bidet.
